This event in Miami featured a Frida Kahlo look-alike contest relating the event with the Mexican Holiday celebrated on May 5th. Besides party and celebration, the event in Miami featured walking tours where people were allow to see a mix of architectural Art Deco and Mediterranean styles. Walkers also heard stories of how this Miami neighborhood became what it is today. Resident of this Miami Neighborhood mentioned they could see a certain revival or the area the same way it happens with the South Beach Art Deco Festival, a Miami event that takes place every year on South Beach’s Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road.
